Sky Christopherson is an Olympic athlete, world record holder, and multiple patent holder at the intersection of sport, technology and public health. Sky has been featured in Fortune, Sports Illustrated, Outside Magazine, Financial Times, and more. He was voted 5th nationwide in the “Top 40 Under 40 in Healthcare Innovation.” and inventor of 16 patents-pending (7 issuing) defining the next frontier of AI-powered health and wellness.

A member of the U.S. Cycling Team, Christopherson set a world record in cycling using an innovative “digital health” model inspired by Dr. Eric Topol. Which was expanded to help the women’s team win Olympic medals when Lance Armstrong was banned for drugs, showcased in the GOLD Health origin story film Personal Gold.

In 2024, Christopherson launched GOLD at the Paris Olympic Games—an AI platform powered by the health and performance leveraging insights of Olympians now using translational science to make health, fitness, and wellness innovations accessible to all to improve public health.

Adam Laurent
Integrated Health

Adam Laurent is an Olympic athlete, World Championship medalist, patent holder, and creative entrepreneur focused on unlocking human potential through technology and storytelling. He leads production—blending elite athletic insight with creative vision to drive innovation in AI-powered wellness.

Adam competed on the U.S. Olympic Cycling Team alongside Lance Armstrong and became a vocal advocate for clean sport and athlete health. After retiring, he led branding, R&D, and content for global campaigns, co-founding Torchlight Media to “Ignite the Human Spirit.” His work includes Personal Gold and contributions to The Game Changers.

As a founding advisor to GOLD Health, Adam is helping make elite health innovation accessible to all—regardless of age, race, culture, or fitness level—by supporting content production, business development, and strategic initiatives to amplify the platform’s reach and impact.

Dr. Clyde Wilson
Chief Scientist

Dr. Clyde Wilson is one of the world’s foremost authorities on metabolic science—a visionary whose work is redefining our understanding of energy, aging, and the root causes of modern disease. As Chief Scientist at GOLD Health, Dr. Wilson leads the integration of cutting-edge metabolic research into scalable, AI-driven coaching systems designed to restore vitality and prevent illness without pharmaceuticals.

With over two decades as lecturer at Stanford University and research and prior faculty appointment at UCSF, Dr. Wilson has trained populations ranging from physicians and Olympic athletes, to populations just getting started with a healthy lifestyle and applying metabolism and nutrition to real-world wellness and longevity. His groundbreaking work on the Super Relaxed State (SRX)—a dormant muscular state that slows metabolism during inactivity—has fundamentally shifted how scientists and clinicians view the chronic health crisis of the 21st century.

Dr. Wilson’s mission is bold and uncompromising: to bring the highest levels of scientific insight and rigor to everyday lives, transforming how we move, eat, sleep, and thrive. Through his leadership at GOLD, he is helping to translate metabolic science into personalized, drug-free protocols that empower people everywhere to reclaim their energy, resilience, and healthspan.

Head of Marketing

Elizabeth is Head of Brand & Marketing at GOLD Health, bringing over 15 years of experience driving growth for consumer brands across digital, retail, and content channels. From Sephora to Amazon, she’s led high-impact campaigns, influencer programs, and product launches for brands across wellness, lifestyle, and beauty.

At GOLD, Liz shapes brand storytelling and user engagement strategies that connect deeply and scale authentically. She blends strategic marketing insight with a creative edge—drawing from her work as a producer, actor, and elite freediver featured in NCIS, lead actress role in AMC’s the SON, and Star Wars: Jedi Survivor.

She holds a BFA from CalArts and is known for turning ambitious ideas into compelling, high-performing brand moments.

Rajiv Mehta
Head of Product

Rajiv Mehta, former Apple innovation lead, is advising GOLD to reimagine how we care for ourselves and each other through cultures of belonging and well-being. With degrees from Princeton, Stanford, and Columbia, he also led scientific research at NASA and drove product innovation at Adobe and other Silicon Valley pioneers.

A recognized leader in Personal Science and social health, Rajiv founded Atlas of Care, a non-profit to reimagine how we care for ourselves and others through cultures of belonging and well-being. He has helped executives, healthcare professionals, and communities use self-tracking and shared data to strengthen human connection.

Currently an advisor to GOLD Health as head of product innovation, Raj ensures the platform stands apart from current health apps by centering on self-exploration, discovery, and personal meaning rather than prescriptive tracking alone. He is guiding the design of AI avatar coaches to accelerate behavior change through trust, shared goals, and social reinforcement.

Rajiv will work closely with the technical co-founder to embed these principles directly into the product experience, aligning the science of personal agency with scalable AI coaching.

Her studies on muscle loss, bone decline, and cognitive strain in space mirrors the effects of modern inactivity, informing strategies to protect mental health, vitality, and longevity.

As an advisor to GOLD Health, Dr. Cagle’s insights shape our AI Avatar Coaches to guide users toward more active, resilient lives—grounded in proven science and mission-aligned with GOLD’s vision to make evidence-based health accessible to all.

Sarah Townley, PharmD
Root-cause coaching

Dr. Sarah Townley began in healthcare as a Doctor of Pharmacy, board-certified in both Pharmacotherapy and Ambulatory Care—bringing a deep commitment to patient care from the start. For over a decade, she treated chronic conditions like Type 2 diabetes and obesity, but saw firsthand how medications only managed symptoms without addressing the root causes.

Dr. Townley now serves as a dedicated Diabetes and Chronic Disease Reversal Coach. Her clients have achieved dramatic outcomes—reducing intra-organ fat, restoring metabolic function, eliminating medications, and reversing Type 2 diabetes and obesity through lifestyle change alone.

Now, Dr. Townley is helping build GOLD’s AI Avatar Coaching platform to leverage her on-the-ground coaching experience to scale the impact of root-cause lifestyle coaching. In effect, shaping an evidence-based system designed to deliver sustainable healing to millions.

Michael Ostrolenk, MA, MFT
Root-cause coaching

Michael Ostrolenk is a psychotherapist, relationship coach, and human optimization strategist with over two decades of experience guiding individuals toward deeper fulfillment in life, love, and purpose. His integrative approach draws from somatic psychology, transpersonal theory, and cognitive-behavioral approaches—blending emotional intelligence with actionable tools to support lasting transformation.

Michael co-developed mental resilience programs with Navy SEALs and helped translate those elite methods into holistic health, fitness, and mindset models for the public. His work was instrumental in expanding SEALFIT into a global brand—impacting millions by bringing high-performance training to everyday people.

At GOLD Health, Michael advises on the emotional intelligence of our AI Avatar Coaches—helping ensure they reflect the empathy, grounded presence, and unconditional positive regard of a trusted human guide.

Rich Yang
Metabolic sensing

Rich Yang is a metabolic health innovator and executive with 25+ years of global experience in biosensors, digital health, and commercial strategy. As a named inventor on dozens of patents, he helped pioneer CGM technology, starting at Medtronic and later leading Dexcom’s growth into a category leader.

Rich was the first biosensing advisor to GOLD, guiding its groundbreaking use of CGM in non-diabetic athletes at the 2012 London Olympics—contributing to medal-winning performances and redefining elite performance tracking.

Now CEO of Biolinq, Rich has led development of a next-gen biosensing platform and raised over $300 million to bring innovative wearables to market. His mission is to tackle metabolic dysfunction through breakthrough tech.

A 2024 EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, Rich brings deep insight to GOLD’s future biosensing strategy—helping translate continuous biomarker data into personalized, actionable guidance through its AI-powered platform.

Nataliia Karpenko
Strategic Initiatives

Nataliia is an Advisor for Partnerships & Community at GOLD Health, helping connect the company to the heart of Silicon Valley’s digital health, innovation, and investment ecosystems. With a background in healthcare strategy, startup development, and user research—and previous experience as a Product Marketing Manager at Meta (Facebook)—she brings deep insight into how to position emerging technologies for wide-scale adoption and cultural relevance.

At GOLD, she contributes to investor communications, partnership development, and user engagement strategy. She also helps design and host high-impact workshops, including visioneering sessions that bring together Olympic talent, AI pioneers, and early user advocates to inform product direction.

As a trusted advisor, she plays a key role in bridging product vision with external momentum, ensuring GOLD’s science-driven platform resonates authentically with both the people we serve and the strategic stakeholders who help us grow.

Tom Gruber
AI Advisor

Tom Gruber is co-founder of Apple’s Siri, the world’s first intelligent assistant for everyone. As Siri’s CTO and head of design, he led the product through its acquisition by Apple, where it became a core feature used over a billion times daily in dozens of languages.

For over four decades, Tom has pursued a central question: How can technology help us live better lives? His work blends AI, cognitive science, and human-centered design to enhance human capability. His innovations have helped shape how people interact with intelligent systems. His TED Talk on Humanistic AI has been viewed millions of times worldwide.
